Media center
The Media Center is located just beside the shooting range and the mixed zone area. At the Media Center you can receive the latest news regarding the competitions. The entire arena is equipped with WiFi.
I-Zones instead of World Cup Press Conferences
Starting from this season, we will not conduct press conferences at the World Cups but have an “I-Zone” (interview zone) in all media centers. The Top 3 athletes will have separate sit-down zones and can be interviewed by the media after the competitions inside.
The traditional press conferences would still take place, however, only at the main event, the IBU World Championships in Oberhof, while the mixed zone will remain and function as usual during the whole season.
We believe that a new set-up with direct access to the athletes will help to create a more relaxed atmosphere and will provide more comfortable conditions for both: the media and the interviewer.
For safety measures and in order to protect yourself and the athletes, using the masks in the I-Zone is mandatory.

Thursday: 10:00 – 20:30
Friday: 11:00 – 19:00
Saturday: 11:00 – 20:30
Sunday: 10:00 – 19:00
Media catering
Food options for media
It is possible for media to buy food from the audience area. We offer drinks (sealed bottles) and coffe/tea in the Media center.
Other options close to the arena are ICA Maxi (supermarket), Östersunds Arena (lunch buffet) or Sibylla (fast food).
Media parking
Parking is situated on the down side of the road, not far from the Media Center and TV compound.
You are welcome to pick up your booked parking permit at the accreditation office. The IBU acccreditation office is located in Jämtkraft Arena.
Ceremonies
The flower ceremonies will take place immediately after the end of each competition in the stadium. Athletes competing in Sprint and Individual that finish place 1-6 will attend the flower ceremonies. Athletes competing in Relay that finish place 1-3 will attend the flower ceremonies.
IBU Picture Service
This season, the IBU photo pool will still provide a photo service free of charge. All media representatives and media companies can download a basic package of competition-related pictures as handouts for editorial purposes. The pictures will be available immediately after the ceremonies.
